new discovery channel series
Everyone's been talking about this show, which premiered last Sunday on the Discovery Channel. I didn't get to see it...we don't have Discovery channel, mostly because if we did then we'd watch it all day long. But I am hoping to catch at least some of this series...all the episodes will be showing again on April 22.

Lisa--I can't open the link here!
Link's broken. Here's the right link.
I was reading about this program the other day. They used some high-speed, high-tech stuff to get some crazy awesome footage. One was a Great White shark eating...a seal or something, I forget. Anyway, this apparently all happens within a second or less, but they were able to capture it on film.
What I loved was, in the preview shown in a nearby movie theater, one of the creators of the show is saying she hopes it will help people see "what's worth saving." My first thought was, "yes, by showing us a bunch of animals eating each other." ;-)
Seriously, this looks like a great show. I wish I had a HD TV to see it on (and I wish I'd get around to seeing it).
