Be very afraid.General Motors Vice Chairman Bob Lutz says we should make a wholesale switch to ethanol. It's laudable that he's promoting renewable fuels, but come on...ethanol?!? Let's feed our hungry cars all our corn while people starve to death.But maybe he meant cellulosic ethanol. Except that the technology for that definitely isn't ready yet for a wholesale switch.
